Szechuan Vege Fried Minced Pork

Ingredient list

1.Sesame oil2 tblsp
2.Ginger strips to taste 
3.Minced pork – How to store minced pork50g
4.Minced garlic1 glove
5.Szechuan vege (70g per pack)2 packs
6.Water120 ml
7.Red chilli/ chilli padi slices to taste 
8.Soy sauce1/2 tsp


  1. Warm up pan in low heat, fry ginger strips with sesame oil until fragrance.
  2. Add garlic and minced pork, stir fry until the colour of meat turns to lighter colour.
  3. Add Szechuan vege, stir well.
  4. Add water and red chilli, bring to boil in high heat.
  5. Taste the sauce, use soy sauce to enhance the taste if necessary.


  1. If this is the first time you use this brand, please taste once you open the packet, discard the sauce if it is too salty to your tastebud, otherwise you may pour in everything during cooking.
Using low heat to fry the ginger strips will ensure that sesame oil is not over heated.
Take a little time to fry the ginger strips patiently for the good flavour to be released.
Only add Szechuan vege once the meat turned to lighter in colour.
