Food items with longer shelf life 比较耐放的粮食

1.蔬菜类 Vegetables 
 胡萝卜 Carrot 
 西芹Celery 
 包菜 Cabbage 
 白菜Chinese cabbage 
 南瓜
Pumpkin
买小颗的,每次用一颗。
Buy small ones, use one each time.
 马铃薯
Potato
要耐收藏,选择不带青,少芽眼的。收在冰厨里。
For longer shelf life, keep in fridge, choose those without sprouts, no green spot.
 冷藏蔬菜
Frozen vegetables
三色豆,绿豆,毛豆,西兰花等。
Three-colour beans, peas, edamame, broccoli etc
 鳄梨
Avocado
颜色越深越熟,买不同程度的绿色,可以放久,一颗接一颗吃。
Dark colour ones are ripe. Choose different shades of green for consuming gradually when the avocados are ripe.
 番薯
Sweet potato
用报纸包起来,放在阴暗,干燥的地方。
Wrap with newspaper/ kitchen paper, keep in cool dry place.
 冬瓜

2.水果类 Fruits 
 苹果 Apple 
 橘子(橙)
Orange
柑橘类不要和蔬菜放在一起。
Do not keep next to vegetables in the same compartment.
 柠檬
Lemon

 百香果
Passion Fruit
皮皱的代表熟了,所以买滑滑的,耐收。
Those with ruffled skins are ripe. Choose the smooth shiny skin ones for long shelf life.
   
3.豆类 Beans 
 所有豆类都是很好的蛋白质来源
All types of bean
罐装的豆类也有同样的营养但是绿豆和黄豆可以拿来种豆芽。
Canned beans provide same kind of nutrients like the dried ones but you may make use of the green beans and soya beans to grow sprouts.
   
4.纤维 Fibre 
 
Grains
各式米类,收在阴凉黑暗处,选择包装还很紧实的。
Grains, keep well in cool dry place. Choose those that the vacuum packaging that are still tightly intact.
 薏米 Barley 
 燕麦 Oat 
 西梅Prunes可以帮助排便。
Help to improve bowel movement.
 坚果类

5.蛋白质和矿物质 
 小小米
Quinoa
非常好的非肉类蛋白质,因为是干的,非常耐放。
Quality source of non-meat protein, can be kept for long as it is dried.
 紫菜
Seaweed
因为是干的,非常耐放。
Long shelf life because seaweed is dry.
   
6.其他 Others 
 罐头食品
Canned food
午餐肉,茄汁豆,沙丁鱼等。
Luncheon meat, baked beans, sardines etc
 腌制食品
Pickled food
娘惹泡菜Acar,韩国泡菜,醋渍白萝卜,包菜,嫩姜之类。Nyonya acar, Korean kimchi, pickled radish, cabbage, young ginger etc
 干的面食类
Dried noodles
米粉,意大利面,快熟面,面线,冬粉类。
Beehoon, pasta, instant noodles, meesua, vermicelli etc
